About the event
Celebrate Labor Day by marching (or riding on a 21ft long float) in the Gaithersburg Labor Day Parade with Greg and his family and friends on Monday, September 5. This is a family friendly event and children are welcome to walk or ride with us on the parade route. Free t-shirts will be given to all participants, there will be an opportunity to help build a float with three inflatables, pass out flyers, and giving out t-shirts along the parade route. After a two year hiatus, the ever-popular Gaithersburg Labor Day Parade, one of the City’s oldest traditions, returns to the streets of Olde Towne on Monday, September 5, 2022. If you want to be in the parade you must line up by 12:30pm. We are line up number 45 in the blue zone. We will be setting up the float at the staging area from ~10-12noon if you would like to help please arrive early. Now in its 84th year, this rain or shine event includes high school marching bands, dance groups, costumed characters, antique cars and fire engines, equestrian units, clowns, and more, all winding their way down East Diamond and Russell Avenues. Please RSVP asap so we can get an accurate head count, and look forward to a fun Labor Day Parade.
If you can’t make it and want to send a campaign donation or follow the campaign progress please visit: https://www.gregorycoll.com, thanks.
